April 3, 2023 – The contaminated, deadly, blinding eye drops recalled earlier this yr were manufactured in India in a factory that was not inspected by the FDA, a brand new report says.
Scientists are concerned that the once-rare, treatment-resistant bacteria in the attention drops could be transmitted from individual to individual and will grow to be a recurring problem within the United States. The New York Times reported.
In January, the unreal tears and ointment products of EzriCare and Delsam Pharma remembered after contact with the bacterium P. aeruginosa.
