Our research team is now designing and evaluating an intercontinental dance program for adolescents and older adults in Ireland, to enhance physical and mental health – and promote strong links between generations.
To inform the design, We reviewed Interfaith dance measures around the globe. Although some programs were formally reviewed, most didn’t deeper health results or partner experiences. Our participants-60+ adults and 14-16 years of age provided feedback throughout the pilot. For many, it was their first experience to speak socially with people outside the group – and the reply was very positive.
Before and after this system, participants accomplished reviews of physical activity, academic function and emotional fitness. The results improved silly behavior in older adults and improved academic performance in each age groups. These preliminary results show that inter -danced dance can offer measures for each the brain and the body.
It was the primary study that used objective measures of physical activity in an inter -autobiographical order – previous research has largely relied on quality opinion. Although objective figures concerning the level of activity in adolescents and older adults have been collected individually, our study first applies this approach to co -races.

Based on this, a brand new home -based component has been introduced in the subsequent phase of the project.
